STRATEGIC, FEASIBILITY & MAJOR INFRASTRUCTURE

UAE Smart Energy Corridor

Strategic Advisory & Multidisciplinary Feasibility | Major Energy Infrastructure

Protech serves as Strategic Advisor to the UAE Smart Energy Corridor, a proposed large-scale energy infrastructure initiative connecting Fujairah and Ruwais through an approximately 515 km overland corridor.

The project is being evaluated through an integrated portfolio of feasibility and supporting studies addressing strategic, market, technical, economic, financial, environmental, regulatory, risk, operational and implementation considerations — providing a multidisciplinary evidence base to support project development, informed decision-making and investment readiness.

AI-Enabled Aircraft Refuelling Monitoring & Safety System

Aviation Fuel Technology | System Development

Protech is the originator, developer and intellectual property owner of an AI-enabled aircraft refuelling monitoring and safety system. The system is being developed to support operational awareness, equipment reliability and safety oversight during aircraft refuelling.

Its proposed framework brings together fuel-quality, equipment-condition, operational and safety data to support continuous monitoring, earlier detection of abnormal conditions and identification of potential equipment issues. These capabilities are subject to testing and validation as implementation progresses.

The project has advanced beyond concept development and is in development and implementation under Protech’s technical and project framework.

Refuelling Systems Refurbishment & Standards Assessment

Aircraft Refuelling Systems | Inspection, Design Support & Refurbishment

UAE

↗
PROJECT CONTEXT

Protech was engaged by a UAE-based company to support the assessment and refurbishment of specialized aircraft refuelling assets and associated fuel systems.

PROTECH SCOPE

The agreed scope covered refuelling vehicles, portable refuelling carts, portable filtration units and temporary fuel-transfer systems. Protech provided technical inspection, refurbishment planning and design support with reference to applicable JIG publications, other relevant aviation fuel standards, client requirements and the equipment’s intended use.

KEY ACTIVITIES
  • Assessed equipment condition and documented technical findings.
  • Developed refurbishment, corrective-action and component replacement requirements.
  • Supported design decisions and reviewed proposed modifications against the agreed technical criteria.
  • Oversaw selected repair and replacement activities.
  • Supported leak testing, pressure-control valve testing, functional checks and commissioning.
  • Reviewed available test results and documentation against the applicable requirements within the agreed scope.
PROJECT OUTCOME

The work informed decisions on repair, upgrade and continued use of existing assets. It supported the client’s efforts to improve equipment condition and operational readiness while evaluating refurbishment as an alternative to premature replacement.

Protech’s assessments and verification activities were limited to the agreed scope, information available and criteria applicable to the equipment. Protech did not issue certification or regulatory approval and did not act on behalf of JIG, a standards publisher, regulator or other approving entity.
